Fiberglass
Fiberglasses are less known by most people as compare to other types of garage doors. A fiberglass door which is light-weight in nature is made of fiberglass sections with aluminum frames. Fiberglass tends to perform better in harsh environments; because it has a strong resistant to salt-air corrosion, and this is the reason why it is preferred among those who have houses close to the ocean. Fiberglass is known to be a poor insulator and break easily but however, they are translucent and typically allow more light into the garage space. Fiberglass doors are available in many styles, colors and wood-like finishes and require no special maintenance.
